Welcoming a Nanny, Housekeeper, or other household staff into your home can sometimes feel awkward and the push-me/pull-me of, "Welcome to our family! Here is your contract. Please fill out a background check, oh, and do you have two more references we can call?" can be confusing. Outsourcing the business end of the process allows your new relationship to unfold in a friendly, welcoming manner while assuring the needed formalities are not set aside.

• Sourcing

  Often households will manage their own recruitment process but would like the advantage of Home Detail's expertise. To aid in the recruitment process, households may register with Home Details and then email us your Job Description. From there, we will be happy to forward any candidates in our database who are interested in your opportunity. A more economical approach than full recruitment, if one of our candidates is hired, we will charge a 7% referral fee based on the hired candidates 1st year's estimated salary.

• In-Home Assessment

  A sit down, in-home visit with one of our professional recruiters is a quick and effective way to gather information, clarify objectives, and develop a game plan that keeps you on track and on budget. In-home assessments usually take one hour. Fee: $75/hr.

• Job Descriptions

  If you want to get somewhere, first you have to decide where you are going. The more specific your Job Description, the more efficient you will be in finding your ideal candidate. Home Details can provide you with a Job Description template or complete a description for you following our In-Home Assessment. Fees: $50 per template or $225 for a complete description and marketing packet.

• Interviews

  As a professional "third party," Home Details can help you assess candidates you are considering for employment. Our outside, objective opinion, combined with "seeing the facts on paper," allows clients to make more informed, thoughtful hiring decisions. Fees: $50 per phone interview and $135 per in-person interview. Includes background check.

• Networking

  Home Details specializes in networking. We also spend thousands of dollars per year on advertising and directing candidates towards our Website. Registered clients are welcome to post positions on our Job Board to tap into our candidate pool and network. You may generate a lead that is already in our active candidate pool and has a history with our agency, or you may connect with an entirely new lead that we have no history with. Fees: $50/month to post your position on our Job Board. ad/job.

  * Note: If you wish to hire a candidate that has been pre-qualified by Home Details and we have a traceable history with that candidate, a standard or, if applicable,) a discounted recruitment fee will apply.

• Background/Reference Checks

  Background and reference checks are a critical task and helps you better know and understand your lead candidates. Home Details can initiate complete background checks for our clients. Fees: State Misdemeanor/Felony Record Check and Sex Offender Record Check between $28 and $60 each depending on the state(s) the candidate has lived in.
